MANTIS RFID v2.0 Hardware Improvements

The Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) v2.0 improvements provide you with more reliable hardware and better performance. The next generation MANTIS instrument with RFID is fitted with six fixed antennas dramatically increasing the RFID tag read/write speed and sending the chip information to the software faster. MANTIS RFID Software Improvements

The MANTIS software has also been updated to improve the usability of RFID (requires RFID V2.0 hardware). Chip data is sent to MANTIS faster and more accurately, to keep your workflow smooth and simple. For more information, see Using the RFID Functionality in MANTIS.

 

 

Factory Reset Ability

MANTIS now includes a factory reset tool. This feature helps you to reset the software to the original manufacturer settings while preserving the user data, so that your dispense lists, dispense summaries, plate definitions, protocols, and reagent configurations will remain useable. You can perform the factory reset if you find corrupted data, experience an unexpected software- or hardware-related error, or accidentally change the configuration data. Minor Software Changes

MANTIS has added several minor changes for better usability. Other changes include:

• Improved license handling for safer upgrade process.
• Updated the chip information when you drag and drop the chips on the Input panel in the Mantis software.
• Fixed the regional settings in the Mantis software for customers in Germany and Sweden.
• Fixed the GUI scaling error when the Mantis software runs on a screen with the font size set to 125%.
