CANCER REVOLUTION:
SCIENCE, INNOVATION AND HOPE

About the Science Museum:

Founded in 1857, The Science Museum Group of UK has an unparalleled collection of items—spanning science, technology, engineering, and medicine—with over five million visitors each year.

About the Exhibition:

In May this year, the Science Museum, in collaboration with Cancer Research UK, decided to launch a one-of-a-kind, object-rich exhibition to reveal the past, present, and future of how cancer is prevented, detected, and treated. To date, the Cancer Revolution Exhibition has welcomed over a hundred thousand visitors with over 100 objects and numerous personal accounts on display.

The exhibition has brought to life the stories of people affected by cancer, together with those who study and treat it, revealing how researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and patients are fuelling progress in a powerful expression of shared hope. Apart from celebrating humanity's incredible progress in understanding oncology, the show also aims to highlight the crucial challenges that are still to be solved.

How FORMULATRIX is Supporting the Cause:

We at FORMULATRIX laud Science Museum’s efforts to advance cancer care by virtue of collecting an enduring record of inspiring objects from across the globe. In support of this cause, we are proud to donate our TEMPEST - Liquid Dispenser to the exhibition to help increase awareness for the global fight against cancer. The TEMPEST is being used by scientists worldwide for research into the causes and treatment of cancer.

The exhibition will continue to attract the cancer community at the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester till its conclusion on January 29, 2023. After the exhibition, the Science Museum’s national collections will preserve the TEMPEST system for posterity.

TEMPEST® is a non-contact, multipurpose dispenser. Enabling you to dispense as many as 12 different reagents simultaneously by utilizing 96 independently controlled outputs. Dispense any volume, of any reagent, into any well.
