Built for integration into automated laboratory environments, Cellmatic Cold Store enables reliable cold storage and automated retrieval of reagents, plates, and consumables used in liquid handling workflows.
By allowing robotic systems to access refrigerated labware directly, Cellmatic Cold Store helps laboratories maintain temperature-controlled storage while enabling fully automated workflows.
Designed for Automation Integration
Cellmatic Cold Store is built to integrate seamlessly with robotic laboratory systems. Compatible with robotic arms and automated workcells, the refrigerator enables automated retrieval and return of labware used in downstream processes such as liquid handling, assay preparation, and screening workflows.
An available software API and Ethernet connectivity enable straightforward integration with third-party automation platforms and scheduling software.
Robotic-Accessible Storage
A motorized carousel-based storage system allows plates and reservoirs to be positioned for robotic access. The refrigerator is designed with an 8.1 in (205 mm) entrance opening, allowing robotic grippers to easily retrieve and return labware.
This design enables efficient integration into automated workflows while maintaining stable refrigerated conditions.
Reliable and Energy-Efficient Cooling
Cellmatic Cold Store uses a variable-speed compressor to deliver efficient and stable cooling performance. The cooling system automatically adjusts compressor operation to maintain consistent temperatures while minimizing energy consumption.

- Soft-start compressor control to prevent power surges
- Real-time cooling system monitoring with suction and discharge line pressure and temperature sensing
- Modular cooling module design for easy service and replacement
The system maintains highly accurate temperature control with ±0.2 °C accuracy at a 4 °C setpoint.
