Automation of Single Cell Plating Utilizing the TEMPEST® Dispenser

Establishing a cell line is a long and tedious process that requires a substantial investment of labor and materials. Once the cell line is developed, the downstream experiments require standardized cell seeding and uniform cell density for quantifiable results. The key challenges in cell line development include achieving monoclonality and robust clonal growth along with high viability and sterility. These challenges in cell line development can be overcome by using automated cell dispensing, leading to high throughput uniform dispensing without affecting cell viability.
