The system is also scalable to accommodate any throughput requirements. To ensure gentle plate handling, it utilizes a smart gripper with weight and force-sensing capabilities. There's no need for bolt-down installations; simply place the instrument on a shelf, and it's ready to go. The Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm (SCARA) ensures precise movements, while the camera mounted on it serves multiple functions, from reading barcodes to auto-teaching the robot for accurate positioning.
