F.A.S.T. is a next-generation, low-volume positive displacement liquid handler. It delivers high precision at sub-microliter volumes without requiring liquid class optimization. Its 96-channel head facilitates rapid liquid transfers in 96- and 384-well plates, making it ideal for high-throughput assays.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Mark Greenough is the Principal Scientist for Tessara Therapeutics. Leveraging over a decade of experience in neuroscience research, he is engineering a pipeline of disease-relevant RealBrain microtissues such as ADBrain™, a ‘first of its kind’ 3D cell model that displays pathological hallmarks of Alzheimer’s disease. Mark is driven by the challenge of accelerating drug discovery, particularly in the neurodegeneration field.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Usman Ashraf is the Application Scientist at Formulatrix, responsible for liquid handling systems and their applications in life science areas. He received his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology with research focused on targeting viral genomes using CRISPR/Cas technology. Before joining Formulatrix, he worked as an associate researcher and instructor at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan.
