We are seeking diligent, dedicated, and dynamic individuals to join us as an Application Scientist. This role aims to increase our sales and marketing capabilities to help drive sales for our Filtration product line. This is an excellent opportunity to directly apply your laboratory experience to developing markets within the life science industry. This position requires someone who is customer-focused, hands-on, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, cross-group collaboration, and planning skills. Candidates must work well independently, with a global team, and directly with customers.
Responsibilities
- Outline, plan, and create collaborative technical publications that highlight how our automation solutions solve a problem for researchers and fit within their workflows.
- Create training materials, Webinars, and App notes, and conduct lessons on relevant scientific applications for sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
- Establish relationships with customers to better understand their needs and how our solutions may assist.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to establish a laboratory to conduct small scientific experiments using our automation solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and the marketing team to conduct online webinars on relevant scientific applications.
- Research and create competitive product reports and training materials.
- Support the sales team with customer inquiries about relevant scientific applications.
- Some domestic and international travel may be required.
- Ability to work with a global team spanning multiple time zones.
Requirements
- MS with 5 years of experience/PhD in Biological Sciences. Experience with TFF systems will be preferred.
- Wet lab experience is mandatory.
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written English communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory automation is a plus.
- Publication in a peer-reviewed journal is a plus.
