The Cellmatic Cold Store is an automated refrigerator engineered for robotic-access storage of SBS-format labware in integrated laboratory environments. A motorized carousel positions plates and reservoirs for retrieval by a robotic arm through a wide 205 mm entrance opening, without disrupting the refrigerated environment or requiring manual interaction.
The system stores up to 60 standard SBS microplates or up to 24 reservoirs (up to 75 mm height), and connects to third-party automation platforms and scheduling software via Ethernet and a software API.

The Ethernet interface and software API allow the Cold Store to be scheduled and controlled by your automation software, fitting natively into existing workcell and laboratory scheduling systems.

The variable-speed compressor adjusts continuously to maintain ±0.2 °C accuracy at a 4 °C setpoint, while minimizing energy draw and thermal cycling.
