Introduction
Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) is widely used in bioprocessing for concentration, buffer exchange, and purification of biomolecules. Selecting the right membrane, however, remains largely empirical, driven by convention or vendor recommendation rather than systematic performance data. This study systematically characterizes µPulse® chips with modified polyethersulfone (mPES) and regenerated cellulose (RC) membranes, examining performance across the entire molecular weight cutoff (MWCO) range. Reference proteins were used to generate direct, comparable performance data across both membrane types. The data provide critical insights into µPulse chip performance with either an mPES or an RC membrane. This serves as a direct reference for membrane selection based on specific application requirements.
