Introducing User Manager: Multiple User Accounts, Role-Based Access
The FLO i8 PD now supports multiple user accounts. Create and manage accounts from the User Manager page in the Account menu, with three access levels: Administrator, Regular User, and Run-Only User.
Get Status API in API Integration v2.5: Step-Level Information
API Integration v2.5 enhances the Get Status API with step-level information. The step-info property now returns details for each step type, including Delay, User Confirmation, and Pipetting Steps.

Introducing UV Sterilization Module: Keep Your Deck Contamination-Free
The FLO i8 PD now supports an optional UV Sterilization module to keep the deck free from contamination. Once initiated from the Tools menu, the deck moves to the sterilization position and the UV light turns on, with progress shown in the UV sterilization dialog and status bar. Contact your Formulatrix sales rep if you're interested in adding a UV module to your FLO i8 PD.
Other Improvements and Updates
- Optimized the NCD sequencing process for diverse volumes, stop-and-go dispense orders, and labware with a pitch smaller than 9mm
- Added a timeout in Runtime Preparation to automatically release hardware reservation when idle
- Added the configuration to bypass deck validation when running protocols
- Multiple bug fixes to correct minor issues
