What's New in This Release?

Mantis 5.2.1 contains the latest software improvements to make your research easier and more efficient. Here is a quick preview of the features included in this release:

Expand High-Volume Dispensing Options with XL Volume PFE Chip

Mantis now provides the XL Volume PFE (XLP) chip type to the chip lineup. XL PFE chips dispense 50 µL aliquots with volume error <5% and CV <2%. The chip is best used with a 0.8 mm diameter nozzle to dispense 1-5 cP reagent viscosity, perfect for large-volume applications. The chip materials are PFE and FEP, providing maximum chemical compatibility for chemistry applications.

Mantis 5.2.1 Provided Improvement for Better Usability:

  • Mantis now requires administrators to input a new email address for the default admin profile when first logging in to the User Account Management.
  • Added new commands to Mantis’s API service, including:

    • ImportDispenseList: Import a dispense list file when the User Management feature is active.
    • ExportDispenseList: Export a dispense list file when the User Management feature is active.
    • RefreshDispenseList: Update the Mantis database to sync with all dispense list files currently in the DispenseList folder.
    • AutoPrimeWithValue: Set the Enable Automatic Priming via Drop Detection option via the API.
    • ImportCFCalibration: Import CF calibration data in .csv file format to the Mantis database. 
    • ExportCFCalibration: Export all existing CF Calibration data files from the Mantis database.

  • Improved the Plate Designer for a more user-friendly display. The improvement includes: 
    • Changed the color code on the selected well displayed in the Designer View from a complete blue highlight to a blue outline.
