Puroxia combines real-time sensing with active feedback control to deliver reproducible sterilization cycles:

  • Hydrogen Peroxide Vapor Sensing: Monitors VHP concentration throughout the cycle, maintaining precise PPM levels. Ensures safe residual levels after aeration.
  • Humidity Control: Continuous dehumidification and real-time humidity sensing improve sterilization efficiency.
  • Low Reagent Use: Only ~70 mL of 35% H₂O₂ is needed per typical cycle.
  • Low Operating Costs: Uses standard hydrogen peroxide solution and a refillable desiccant cartridge, avoiding proprietary consumables.

Puroxia is designed for simplicity and modern laboratory workflows:

  • Multi-touch control screen with intuitive interface 
  • Linux OS running on a system-on-a-chip mini computer 
  • Remote software updates over network 
  • Ethernet connectivity for future system integration and automation

Users can configure sterilization and dosing parameters based on laboratory needs. Current cycle setup is through a simple Python-based configuration file, with a graphical input method planned in upcoming software updates.
