Like COVID-19 and other infectious respiratory illnesses, the spread of MTB is best controlled through contact tracing, screening of high-risk populations, and isolation and treatment of infected individuals. The FORMULATRIX TB Test is a rapid nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) designed for the decentralized diagnosis of MTB . As an automated qPCR assay, the Formulatrix TB Test reliably detects DNA targets with the sensitivity and specificity of traditional qPCR, without requiring highly skilled technicians or expensive equipment. It also enables the multiplexed detection of rifampicin (RIF) and isoniazid (INH) resistance mutations.
